The worlds largest and most populas continent is Asia. It's population area about 3.8 million people and it is composed of wide variety of ethnic groups, cultures, environments, economics, historical ties and governmental systems. This continent is made up geographycally 8.7% of the Earth's total surface area and 29.50% of it's land area.

Asia lies the largest continent of the world. It lies entirely in the northern hemisphere excepting few islands extending in the southern hemisphere. It is the most populated continent and the birthplace of many ancient civilizations.

On the north of Asia lies the Arctic Ocean, on the east and south it is bounded by the Pacific and the Indian Ocean respectively. But on the western side, it merges with Europe and together they are called Eurasia. Modern geographers consider Ural Mountains, Ural River, part of Caspian Sea and the Caucasus Mountain as boundaries between Europe and Asia. The highest (Mount. Everest) and the lowest point (Dead Sea) on the surface of the earth lies in Asia.
